Andy Groom usually is focused on event production and budget control as a very experienced project planner with a track record of the highest level of event execution delivering events in a wide range of environments on budget, on brief and beyond expectation. Andy has extensive experience developing every aspect of an event from concept to completion working with the Public, Private and Volunteer bodies in the UK and Scotland.
25 years production experience of global sporting events and an unrivaled background in operations management and competitor, crew, and media travel co-ordination.
10 years+ world tour windsurfing events production track record, in unique locations with difficult logisitc challenges for competitors, crew and media.
Development of After Shock Arena – dealing with every aspect from concept to completion incorporating live acts and brand experiences to create the recognised destination for festival goers and to achieve maximum cut through for the client.
Project Management of the International Tiree Wave Classic event including the establishment of a local management group and developing relationships with public funding bodies creating a world cup event with superb international media and TC coverage.
3 years, Andy was a series manager for the British Cycling MTB National Series, managing all aspects of the National Series for the title sponsor Toyota and Channel 4 TV.
Mike Causey has extensive experience with worldwide crisis management, risk management, and safety and security, along with communication skills to all levels of management. He is a trustee of multiple local charities in the Spey Valley, from a woodlands trust of over 900 acres; a charitable community trust; and parent council for a local secondary school. He’s also a mountain leader and wilderness first responder, as well as a Duke of Edinburgh expedition assessor supervisor.
Mike currently consults for major multinationals, advising them on special contingency risks, and travel safety and security. He will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of the event, and for these aspects of training for volunteers.
